Sightseeing in Mumbai

I woke up around 5:30am like usual. My body is still trying to adjust to the 10.5 hour time difference. 5:30am here is 7pm the previous day in Pittsburgh. I was able to watch some of the Penguins game via an Internet stream. I met Andreas and Joachim for breakfast at 8am and we left for the office at 9am. The rain finally stopped, so I was able to finally see Mumbai on the drive to the office. Pretty much anything with wheels and a motor is used for transportation in Mumbai. The day at the office consisted of more of the same. We met with a variety of people to discuss their roles, answer any questions they have and reinforce that we need to work as a team to allow Bayer to grow and move forward. The vendor called a town hall meeting and Andreas was asked to provide a motivational speech. 100-150 employees attended and after the speech awards for exemplary performance were handed out with our assistance. Last Day in Mumbai

Today was my last day in Mumbai. I started it like my first day in Mumbai by beginning my tossing and turning around 3:30am. It was going to be a long day with our flight to Germany scheduled for 2:55am the following morning. Andreas and I met for breakfast like usual at 8am and left for the office around 9am. They have been receiving guidance and feedback from Joachim the whole time. I had interjected some points the last several days, but this time it was all up to me. We wrapped up the final day with an impromptu major incident response when the main building in Leverkusen experienced a power outage.
